How does TargetLog score my targets?
Photograph your paper target and on-device machine learning detects every bullet hole, maps it to the official ring geometry of your discipline, and applies ISSF scoring rules — the same plug-gauge logic a human scorer uses. You can tap to correct any single shot after detection.
Which disciplines and targets are supported?
ISSF 10m air rifle, 10m air pistol, 25m pistol events (rapid fire, sport, standard and center fire), 50m free pistol, 50m rifle three-position and 300m rifle, plus French FFTIR, German BDS and NRA 5m targets. Calibers from .177 match pellets through .22 LR, centerfire and 12-gauge slug.
Does TargetLog work offline?
Yes. Shot detection and scoring run entirely on your device, so TargetLog works with no signal at the range and your target photos never have to leave your phone.
Is TargetLog free?
Yes — TargetLog is free to download on the App Store and Google Play, and core scoring, session logging and analytics are free to use.
Is my shooting data private?
Sessions are stored locally on your device by default. An optional account adds sync across your own devices, but it is entirely opt-in and the app works fully without it.
Is TargetLog available on iOS and Android?
Yes — TargetLog is a native app on both platforms, localized in 13 languages.
