GDPR & Data Deletion
Last updated: February 21, 2026
This page explains your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), how to request data deletion, and how TargetLog handles your personal data. TargetLog is developed by B.Clean.
How TargetLog Handles Your Data
TargetLog is designed with a privacy-first approach. The key facts about your data:
All shooting session data (scores, shot positions, session history, target images) is stored locally on your device. No account is required to use TargetLog, and no personal data is stored on our servers.
The only data that leaves your device is:
- Analytics data — Anonymized usage data sent to PostHog (no personal identifiers).
- Error reports — Anonymized crash data sent to Sentry (no personal data included).
How to Delete Your Data
Since TargetLog stores all session data locally on your device, you have full control:
- Open the TargetLog app on your device
- Navigate to any session you wish to delete
- Use the delete option to remove individual sessions
- To remove all data, uninstall the application from your device
For analytics and error reporting data: If you wish to request deletion of any anonymized data collected by PostHog or Sentry, contact us at [email protected]
Data Deleted Upon Uninstall
When you uninstall TargetLog, the following data is removed from your device:
- Session data — All shooting sessions, scores, shot positions, and notes
- Target images — All locally stored target photos
- App settings — Language preferences, discipline settings, and other configuration
- Cache data — Any cached analysis results
Data Retained
After uninstalling the app, certain data may be retained by third-party services in accordance with their policies and our legal obligations:
- Error logs (Sentry) — Anonymized error logs retained for up to 30 days for diagnostic purposes
- Analytics data (PostHog) — Anonymized usage statistics may be retained according to PostHog's data retention policies
- Legally required data — Certain data may be retained if required by law (e.g., to comply with a legal obligation or court order)
None of the retained data contains personally identifiable information or your shooting session data.

Important Notice
Data deletion is irreversible. Once session data is deleted from the app or the app is uninstalled, your shooting history and scores cannot be recovered.
- There is no cloud backup — deleted data is gone permanently
- Consider exporting or noting important scores before deleting
- Target images stored in the app's document directory are removed with uninstall
