Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

TargetLog is a mobile application designed for precision shooting training. The App can be used free of charge; certain advanced features require an optional TargetLog Pro subscription (see Section 3). The App provides the following features:

• Capturing or selecting photos of competition targets
• On-device bullet hole detection and scoring using computer vision
• Automatic ISSF competition scoring with support for multiple disciplines
• Session tracking, history, and score analytics
• Interactive target overlays for reviewing and editing shot positions

2. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial training purposes. The App is licensed, not sold. You retain full ownership of any photos you capture and session data you create using the App.

3. Subscriptions & Pro

TargetLog is offered on a freemium basis. You can use the App free of charge, and you may optionally subscribe to TargetLog Pro ("Pro"), a paid auto-renewing subscription sold and billed through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Pro is an annual subscription.

Pro currently includes:

• Unlimited session history (the free tier keeps only the last 90 days)
• Advanced statistics and session group metrics
• PDF and CSV reports
• Multiple items per armory category (the free tier allows one item per category)
• Session notes and a maintenance log

We may add, change, or remove Pro features over time. The features available to you at any given time are shown in the App. Subscribing to Pro does not change the on-device, local-first nature of the App: your scores, shot positions, and target images remain on your device by default, and the advanced features simply unlock additional analysis and reporting on that data.

4. Free Trial

• Trial length: 7 days, beginning when you confirm your trial in the App Store or Google Play Store.
• Payment method required: you must have a valid payment method on file with Apple or Google to start the trial. No charge is made during the 7-day trial period.
• Automatic conversion: at the end of the 7 days, the trial becomes a paid annual Pro subscription and your stored payment method is charged the then-applicable annual price.
• Cancel to avoid being charged: you can cancel the trial at any time before it ends — through your Apple ID or Google account subscription settings (see Section 7) — and you will not be charged.
• One trial per account: the free trial is limited to once per Apple ID or Google account for this subscription, ever. If you have previously used a free trial for Pro, you will not be offered another one.

5. Auto-Renewal & Billing Period

Pro is an annual subscription. Unless you turn off auto-renewal, your subscription automatically renews at the end of each annual billing period for another year, and your payment method is charged the then-applicable annual price, until you cancel.

• Annual billing: one billing period equals one year.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically each year until you turn off auto-renewal or cancel in your Apple ID or Google account settings.
• Access continues to period end: turning off auto-renewal or cancelling stops the next renewal only. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which it ends and your account reverts to the free tier.

Under Belgian consumer law (Article VI.91 of the Code of Economic Law), where a consumer subscription is automatically renewed, you have the right to terminate the renewed subscription at any time, subject to a notice period that cannot exceed two months. You can exercise this right at any time by turning off auto-renewal in your Apple ID or Google account settings (see Section 7). Apple and Google also send their own renewal reminders before each annual renewal. From 1 May 2027, Belgian law will additionally require us to notify you of each upcoming annual renewal on a durable medium at least 15 days before the deadline by which you can object; we will do so through the durable contact channel we hold for you (for example, the email linked to your TargetLog account, where you have signed in).

6. Pricing & Currency

The price of Pro varies by country and region. The actual price you pay is the price displayed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store at the point of purchase for your country and currency, which reflects local currency conversion, the regional pricing set by Apple or Google, and applicable taxes (such as VAT) that they are required to collect.

All prices shown in the App and on this website are indicative. The binding price for your subscription is the price confirmed by Apple or Google at the time you confirm the purchase or renewal.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription or free trial at any time. Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, so cancellation is done through your Apple ID or Google account subscription settings, not inside the TargetLog app. Uninstalling the App does not by itself cancel your subscription or stop charges.

• Apple (iPhone/iPad): open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, select TargetLog, and turn off auto-renewal or cancel. You can also manage your subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
• Google Play (Android): open the Play Store, then profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, select TargetLog, and cancel. You can also manage your subscriptions at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Cancelling or turning off auto-renewal before the end of the current billing period (or, during a trial, before the trial ends) means you will not be charged for the next period. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for (see Section 5).

8. Refunds

Because your purchase is processed entirely by Apple or Google, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, and B.Clean cannot issue refunds directly or reverse a charge made by the App Store or Google Play Store.

• To request a refund from Apple, use the reportaproblem.apple.com page within 14 days of the charge, or as otherwise permitted by Apple's policy.
• To request a refund from Google, follow the refund process in your Google Play order history, or visit Google Play Help.

Any refund is at the discretion of Apple or Google under their respective policies and applicable law. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under EU or Belgian consumer law.

Because a Pro subscription is a commitment for its paid period, cancelling your subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any remaining paid period; your Pro access simply continues until the end of that period (see Section 7), except where a refund is required by applicable mandatory law.

9. Price Changes

We may change the price of Pro from time to time, including at renewal. Apple and Google will notify you of any price change before it takes effect, in accordance with their requirements.

• Price increase: if the price increases, you have the right to cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect, in which case you will not be charged the higher price.
• Price decrease: a lower price will generally apply from your next renewal.

In the European Union, a price increase requires your explicit agreement. If you do not agree to the new price, your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current period and you will not be charged the higher price. If you expressly agree to the new price (for example, by accepting it when prompted in your Apple ID or Google account), the new price will apply from your next renewal.

10. Payment Processing & Store Terms

All purchases and payments for Pro are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). B.Clean never collects, sees, or stores your payment-card or bank-account details. Your payment information is handled solely by Apple or Google under their own privacy and security standards.

We use a third-party service, RevenueCat, to verify purchases and manage your subscription entitlement (i.e., whether your account has active Pro access). RevenueCat processes purchase receipts and entitlement identifiers provided by Apple or Google; it does not receive your full payment-card data.

Your purchase is also governed by the terms of the store through which you bought it, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference:

• Apple: the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), together with the Apple Media Services Terms & Conditions.
• Google: the Google Play Terms of Service.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the applicable store terms, the store terms govern the purchase, billing, and refund transaction with Apple or Google, and these Terms govern your use of the App itself.

11. Account & Billing

You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID, Google account, and any TargetLog sign-in account information accurate and secure, including the payment method on file with Apple or Google. Charges for Pro are made to the Apple ID or Google account you used to subscribe.

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your accounts, including any charges, until you cancel in accordance with Section 7.
• If you believe a charge is unauthorized, contact Apple or Google promptly, as they process all payments (see Section 8).
• Pro is tied to your Apple ID or Google account (and, where you sign in, to your TargetLog account for cross-device entitlement). It may not be shared, resold, or transferred between accounts except as permitted by Apple or Google.

12. Right of Withdrawal — EU

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU), as implemented in Belgium, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. However, for the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium — such as the TargetLog App and the Pro subscription — this right is lost once the supply of the digital content has begun, where you have given your prior express consent to begin the supply and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

13. Promotional Offers

From time to time, we, Apple, or Google may offer promotional pricing, discounts, or introductory offers (such as the free trial in Section 4) for Pro. The specific terms of any promotion — including its duration, eligibility, and the price that applies after it ends — will be clearly stated at the point of offer in the App Store or Google Play Store.

• Unless stated otherwise, a promotion applies only for its stated duration and to eligible accounts; the standard Pro price applies once the promotion ends.
• Eligibility (including the once-per-account limit for free trials) is determined by Apple or Google and cannot be overridden by us.

14. Children & Minors

TargetLog is not directed at children. The App is not intended for anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country to use the App Store or Google Play Store and to consent to these Terms). If you are under that age, you may not use the App or subscribe to Pro except with the involvement and, where required, the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

• A parent or guardian who authorizes a minor's use is responsible for that use and for any purchases, including Pro subscriptions and free trials initiated on the minor's device or account.
• Parental controls provided by Apple (Screen Time) and Google (Family Link) can be used to restrict in-app purchases and subscriptions.

If you believe a minor has subscribed to Pro without authorization, please contact us at support@target-log.net and request a refund through Apple or Google (see Section 8).

15. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its components
• Attempt to circumvent any security features or access restrictions
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App itself, or any proprietary content of the App (such as its code, graphics, or logos). This does not restrict your use of your own session data and reports, which you own (see Section 17).
• Use the App for any unlawful activity

16. Scoring Disclaimer

TargetLog uses on-device computer vision to identify bullet holes and calculate scores. While we strive for accuracy:

• Scoring results are approximations and may contain errors
• Results depend on image quality, lighting, target condition, and other factors
• Scores are intended for training and self-assessment purposes only
• Scores should not be used as official competition results

Users can manually edit shot positions and scores within the app to correct any inaccuracies.

17. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and all related content, is the property of B.Clean and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of any photos and session data you create using the App. We claim no rights over your photos or training data.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Analysis results may vary in accuracy. You use the App at your own risk.

This disclaimer is given only to the extent permitted by applicable law, and does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer under EU and Belgian law, including your rights to digital content that conforms to the contract.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, B.Clean shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Inaccurate scoring results
• Loss of session data or photos
• Interruption or unavailability of the App
• Any decisions made based on generated scores

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the total amounts you have paid to us for the App and for any Pro subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim. This cap expressly includes any subscription fees paid through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in that period, and applies regardless of the legal basis of the claim, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits: (i) our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (iii) our gross negligence or wilful misconduct; or (iv) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory EU and Belgian consumer law, including your statutory remedies for non-conforming digital content under Directive (EU) 2019/770.

20. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you agree to the handling of data as described in our Privacy Policy.

21. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. The App stores your data locally on your device by default. If you have signed in and enabled cloud sync, a synced copy is also kept in your Supabase account. Uninstalling the App removes the local copy; to remove the synced copy, sign out or delete your account within the App before uninstalling.

We reserve the right to discontinue the App or the Pro service. A Pro subscription is a commitment for its paid period. If we discontinue the Pro service, we will give you reasonable advance notice where possible; your Pro access then ends at the end of the current paid period, and we do not provide refunds for the remaining portion of that period except where required by applicable mandatory law. This does not affect any statutory remedies you have under EU or Belgian consumer law.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We may make changes that do not materially disadvantage you; those take effect on the updated "last updated" date on this page, and your continued use of the App after they take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Where a change would materially disadvantage you, it will take effect only with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable mandatory EU and Belgian law.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under EU law in your country of residence.
